The CAP has five professional development program levels. In obtaining the different levels, students will be exposed to different specialty tracks and professional development courses. They are expected to complete the requirements to proceed to the next level.

This website has been created to provide the Civil Air Patrol Florida’s Wing members a great explanation to master the second level, which is TECHNICAL TRAINING level. The main goal of this site is to provide the students with an instruction that consists of three lessons including the technician rating, senior rating, and master rating.  These lessons prepare the members to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) as a professional development officer for a local squadron in the CAP.  The desired outcome is to increase the individuals with knowledge and skills to master the materials in order to be well prepared for the leadership positions.
